Yeah, I debated about. Since I blogged about them, I figured I'd include them. Otherwise no one would ever see them.
Not sure what the intention was, but let'em go out. What's the worst that could happen? People figure out that REXML is slow? -sc
The downside is the extra bytes (for the test xml files) and making sure they actually work. And also whether including them is appropriate (I sent emails to the authors, should also add attribution at the top of each one).
I'm fine either way. I figure they'll get removed sooner or later though.And while on the subject, where are the benchmarks on the home page from? In fact, maybe we just have links to a benchmark page from there and take them out of the distribution?
