Fortunately, a comfortable amount of difference does exist between
discussing of law in abstract terms -- even in great detail as to
its application to _theoretical_ sets of facts -- and the giving of legal
advice.

I remember back in 1998, when scrappy Berkeley publishing house Nolo
Press proved the foregoing a truth universally acknowledged, even in Texas.
