I've been merging changes from qt3-gui to the qt4 branch when I found r4931 ("Merged all translations"). I thought that it would be better to do a "make merge" (as described in README.LOCALE) in the qt4-branch rather than just merging the qt3-files but that didn't work as all the old makefiles are removed.
So how are translation files updated in the qt4-branch?I guess either the makefiles needs to be put back or the README.LOCALES needs to be updated with new instructions.
