This has been mentioned before (mostly on #licq) but I bring it up here
as it hasn't been decided yet.
Some time ago Qt 4.3 was released and it contains some improvements both
on behavior and on the API.
Up until now I have only used code in the gui that will work with Qt 4.2
but now that 4.3 is becoming more available (Debian has had it in
unstable and testing for some time) I wonder whether there is any reason
to still support the old Qt 4.2.
As the qt4gui is still under development I guess it is no big deal to
require the latest Qt libraries but if there is any reason to keep 4.2
working then let me know.
I would also like to know how this i handled generally. When is a
library version old enough for us not to support it anymore.
