We have in general been supporting old versions for a year or so after their time. Meaning that when we remove support for an old version, hardly anyone is affected at all. It may be possible to remove support earlier, but I think it makes it easier to use for the people who haven't upgraded yet. As for which Qt version we should support. Since KDE is going with 4.3, we should too.
