I had this problem as well after recently updating from CVS (the last time I 
updated was just after X-Mas perhaps...)

I just got inspired to see what the heck was wrong with it now, and seemed to 
have fixed it by changing all references in plugins/qt-gui/src/Makefile of 
-lqt-mt to -lqt.

Seems to have done the trick.
