I'm having similar problem here. Sometimes i get a message with appears nearly 
20 seconds after that on the contactlist. Same with sending messages, where 
it needs 15-20 seconds to disappear the message-window.
The qt-plugin is compiled with qt3 but without kde-support and it happens only 
with qt3, not qt2.
