What are extreme large users dir for you? I have.. (killer@p800)(~)($) head -n 2 .licq/users.conf [users] NumOfUsers = 1577 (killer@p800)(~)($) But look.. like I mentioned years ago, LICQ supports just the first 600 guys on our contact list and now what I do?? I just run 3 Licqs with the contact in different orders to see people online, but I only send messages with one of my UINs, the official.. Kinda dumb?? I think there's no other way to pass through this limitation you say is a protocol problem... And thinking myself... 1500 files in a dir is not too much for my filesys, its integrity is ok... -- Jose Antonio Alves Tavares Filho "_]{ILLER_" -- A Computer Science Student at UCPel – Pelotas/RS – Brazil ICQ# 6093525 =================================================================== _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
