        Why not let it go wildly, just setup a cronjob to do something to the
effect of...

        find ~/.licq/users/ -name *.removed -ctime +14 -exec rm -f {}\;

        Or at least something to that nature.  That way, after two weeks, those
old "removed" files are deleted.  This requires no user interaction
besides the intial throwing it in your crontab.
