I don't agree, everything works quitte well on my system, except for licq,
sim works fine, psi, k3b, cdbakeoven, etc etc etc... only licq crashes and
 has problems with kde3 interface.
The problem is that the kde frontend was developed for kde 2.2.x and someone
add a quick hack for it to compile and run on kde 3.0, but now it's
completely brokne for some ppl, don't know why on some it works and others it
doesn't, also, ALL my kde 3.x compiles where with object-prelink and licq
always worked without crashes (besides the normal ones), it was when i
upgraded to kde 3.0.2 that it wen't broken... a NEW kde frontend needs to be
rewritten, or at least the errors must be found, instead of saying that
nothing is wrong. i don't mean by this to say that a licq developer is
obliged to fix this, bla bla, i know this is a free time project, i just
meant to say that the licq kde frontend IS broken for some ppl, and it's
unreasonable to ask for someone to change of kde because licq doesn't work. I
know, i can use something else, but that won't fix the bugs will it?:)

btw kxicq2/sim/psi all work fine... the first two uses kde and the last qt...
why only licq crashes?

best regards...
