Do you have both QT2 and QT3 installed?  They won't play nice
together, but I suppose you know that.  I am running Debian, and I
have the QT3 debs installed.  If I want to compile something using
QT2, the only way I can do it is by putting QT2 (from a tarball) in
/usr/local/qt and then giving the include, libraries, and moc path in
the configure command, so that the QT3 libs are not used to compile.

What does ldd show for the plugin?
