I made this on purpose because if those other events appear to the chat mode view box reseting the event on the way, user can't handle those events. There is no such buttons as "Accept" or "View" in the chat window. So user has to click the flag in the contact list and then he can handle the event in the event dialog which will be created. IMHO, those other events shouldn't appear to the chat mode view box at all. User can become confused when the event appears there and he can't do anything for it. If the event doesn't appear there, the user may understand that he has to open it from the contact list. > * It displays an icon on the contact list that there is a new message. >This >is not a problem as long as if it is opened from the contact list that it >focuses the chat view window. I think if the user is using chatmode message view option, the message shouldn't appear to an event dialog but straight to a chat window. But this should happen only if the type of event is message; in other cases, it should be opened to an event dialog (like I already suggested there above). If the chat window exists already being non-active somewhere and a message has arrived, what Licq should do when the user clicks the icon on the contact list? Do nothing because the message has already written in the chat window? Or should it activate the chat window and thus reseting the event? I don't know if that's possible with QT but it'd be nice if it worked that way. And if the window was minimized, it would be normalized. Btw, that's the way how it works in WinIcq. ;) // Tumppi. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
