Please provide a Makefile that reflects these realities. As it stands, make clean removes all .qm files in the distribution and there is no rule to rebuild them. (And the ru.qm shipped with 1.2.7 also has the translation bug.) The only build rule builds .qm from .po. README.translators shows that various translators prefer .ts or .po, but one cannot be expected to match these preferences manually at build time. (I know how to build .qm from .ts manually; that is not the point.)
