I'm starting to experience difficult connection problems.

I'm using debian (unstable) and update my box on a weekly basis.
Currently I'm using Licq 1.0.4

My box is behind a linux router/server/NAT box thingie I set up. I
forward all direct connections to my box (port range 100)

This has worked like a charm for a year or so. File transfers and
everything.. But now I get disconnected all the time.. Well.. Sometimes
I can stay online for several hours, but I still go from online to
offline now and then. This started just a coupple of days ago. (The
online/offline jumps has harrased me forever I think, but recently it
has become more frequent) The Network log says: (when I attempt to re-logon)

16:14:44: [UDP] Requesting logon (#21616)...
16:14:44: [UDP] Resolving icq3.mirabilis.com...
16:14:44: [UDP] ICQ server found at 205.188.153.99:4000.
16:14:44: [UDP] Creating local server.
16:14:44: [UDP] Opening socket to server.
16:14:44: [UDP] Ack (#21616).

And after a while I get a popup that says "Logon failed.."

When I try to log on with a ICQ2000b client on a W2K box (on the same
subnet), It doesn't work, but it says "Rate limit exceeded"
I checked some FAQs at www.icq.com and found this:

Q.I received a 'Rate Limit Exceeded' error message. What can I do?
A.In the ICQ window, click Main/ICQ->Preferences->Connection->Server and
then check Keep Server Alive. Try to connect again in 15 minutes.

Well.. that doesn't help me does it.. I'm wondering it there is a
similar option for Licq? Or can I device a script to get the same feature?

Help is higly appreciated.

Thanx!

/Martin Eriksson
