$ finger [EMAIL PROTECTED] The latest stable version of the Linux kernel is: 2.4.18 The latest prepatch for the stable Linux kernel tree is: 2.4.19-pre10 The latest beta version of the Linux kernel is: 2.5.20 The latest prepatch for the beta Linux kernel tree is: 2.5.8-pre3 The latest 2.2 version of the Linux kernel is: 2.2.21 The latest prepatch for the 2.2 Linux kernel tree is: 2.2.21-rc4 The latest 2.0 version of the Linux kernel is: 2.0.39 The latest prepatch for the 2.0 Linux kernel tree is: 2.0.40-rc4 The latest -ac patch to the stable Linux kernels is: 2.4.19-pre10-ac2 The latest -dj patch to the beta Linux kernels is: 2.5.20-dj3 21, not 30. (relative to the proprietary > icq network) I trust the developers are aware that the latest release (1.0.4) isn't much good these days. But on the other hand it is my impression that there are quite a lot of changes going on with the insides of Licq, so I think that's why they are holding a release back. This isn't optimal since a lot of new users are bound to think Licq isn't a good piece of software when they try out the latest release, which doesn't work. But is it better to release something that isn't stable? Just the other night the CVS-version I'm using crashed several times :-( An update about it on the frontpage of website would be just great, if you ask me. Then new users could try out the development-version, but then they would be aware that they should expect crashes at everything else that comes with using bleeding edge. -- Jacob _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm _______________________________________________ Licq-main mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/licq-main
