The problem is that people are getting strange characters instead
of my iso8859-2 reencoded to their encoding.

I'm using iso8859-2 locally, I have set central european (iso8859-2)
as default encoding in options, show all encodings is marked.

Also I tried to set Translation to POLISH in licq.conf but that
doesn't help at all.

Same happens if windows people send me Polish characters - I see
veird thins.

Any ideas?

licq from cvs (fetched today)
qt-3.1.0
