A look at the log > confirms that I am not really online (even though the blue 'online' > status continues to show up on the console). I noticed quite a similar problem some weeks ago (SuSE Linux 8.0, "licq-1.2.0a"). I think (but I am not sure) that it happend after installing the kernel "linux-2.4.20", it appears that it didn't occur with the "ac"-series of the kernel; I used "linux-2.4.19-ac4" previously. Since I've updated to "licq-1.2.3" some days ago, the problem hasn't appeared anymore. So, perhaps you can try "linux-1.2.3" instead of "linux-1.2.0a". Maybe the problem will disappear for you, too. Hope that helps! Bye, Steffen ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: FREE SSL Guide from Thawte are you planning your Web Server Security?
