Hello, Excuse my ignorance, but I thought they were the same: the plug-in manager says "Name: KDE GUI", "Description: "Qt based GUI", so I really can't tell :) I do use the dock icon. I just tried turning it off and restarting licq and kicker hanged once again, so it's not that. Let me know what other information you may need. Being a Gentoo user, I've compiled the (released) sources myself with GCC 4.1.1. Thanks, Georgi
