I'm sorry, it appears it was never licq's fault. The panel button in KDE which
I used to start licq caused it. I noticed that by starting licq from the
command line - no problem at all. I created a new button and all is fine now.
Sorry for bothering you. No SVN was required.
That said, I do have one more problem. I want to change my details (mostly
remove them actually). I "Retrieve" them fine, change them (specifically, I
set my contry from Bulgaria to Unspecified) and "Save" them. The "Send"
button however, just does nothing. The info window just displays a "waiting"
moue cursor, and the network window says only this:

I could run another client just to change my details, but I'm afraid it might
corrupt my serverside contact list. In my experience, the ICQ protocol is a
big mess.
