How about letting an external command update the user picture for MSN and
ICQ? I think of this similar to commands executed for auto responses. This
would be settable from the owner dialog.
On the image tab, there would be a commandline lineedit, where you can
enter a command to be executed every N minutes. The command would either
return a filename or the image in e.g. jpg or gif format, which is
supported by ICQ and MSN.
Maybe the command also should have to take care of the image filesize, or
maybe we could resize and resample it with QImage, so that it fits.
Applications:
- Put in some current webcam picture
- Put in cover art of the song you are listening to (like in aMSN)
- Put in seasonal images (e.g. xmas)
