Comment:
This is due to changes at the server side some months ago. To see contacts
online you must have them added to the server side list. Also you must
have granted and gotten authorization (both ways) before you will see each
other online.
Since this is most likely due to the above, I'm closing this ticket as a
duplicate of #1600.
