That's strange! I did see those tips on blowing away ~/.m2, and in fact, I had started with a clean Fedora install.
For extra measure, I tried removing ~/.m2 now, and I still get the same error... One thing I notice is that, at this location: http://scala-tools.org/repo-snapshots/net/liftweb/lift-archetype-blank/0.10-SNAPSHOT/ ... I cann't see any lift-archetype-blank-0.10-SNAPSHOT.jar which is the file maven is looking for. There are a couple of similarly named files such as lift-archetype-blank-0.10-20081124.173443-167-sources.jar Is that how it is supposed to be?
