Ah ha! Found the problem. The HTML shows tildes (~) instead of
quotes ("). The PDF looks OK, but cut and paste doesn't work very
well (formatting spaces lost, extra info like page numbers if copied
across a page boundry).
So the new question is if there is a place to log the error with the
HTML?
