Tim,
You need both these lines:
LiftRules.maxMimeSize = 30 * 1024 * 1024
LiftRules.maxMimeFileSize = LiftRules.maxMimeSize
The first defines the maximum acceptable size of *all* the pieces of the
MIME encoded POST and the second defines the maximum size of a given file in
the MIME stream.
