My proposal for the May topic is:
*With reference to the examples given in LILA, explain dynamic and static
quality and the relationship between them.*
And my reasons for it are:
Although the power program has raised some interesting points, I feel that
any progress continues to be stifled by lack of any agreement, or even
proper discussion of the basic elements of the MOQ. We are simply going
round in circles. Even when individuals do take steps forward, it's of
little use because there is no attempt to consolidate what they have
learned and present it in an accessible form so that
the rest of the group can benefit.
As we discovered in the March program the MOQ only amounts to a handful of
elements. Namely:
Quality as reality/morality/value
Dynamic vs static
Inorganic, biological, social, intellectual
The moral relationships between the levels.
You could break it down into more than that but I fear it will be too
complicated so let's just stick to big easy categories. Quality as
reality/morality/value is rather an abstract subject and would be better
left until after we've covered the rest. Thus the most logical place to
start building our elements is with the first division of quality - dynamic
and static.
