Since this problem applies mainly to PianoStaff my inclination is to add a
new section to NR 2.2.1 Common notation for keyboards to explain this and
use
the explanation and example posted by Neil in
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-lilypond/2011-07/msg00195.html
with a ref from Automatic accidentals in NR 1.1.3 Displaying pitches.
