Sigh. I am not in for the whole rigmarole of checking a whole bunch of
not-so-recent fixes for things worth cherry-picking.
Phil, you want to cherry-pick that single fix and crank out 2.16.2 with
it? I don't think we have another platform-downing kind of bug recently
fixed, so it seems like a reasonable step forward. The release
announcement could mention that this concerns just Lilypond-book operation
on a limited number of platforms so that unaffected people would not feel
like they need an urgent upgrade.
Alternatively, someone can volunteer for the full "collect all
non-behavior-changing fixes" tournee for 2.16.2, but I guess that the fast
course is simpler and safer.
