It seems that comment #3 is no longer relevant to this issue, because
comment #2 links to a patch that re-implements minimum-Y-extent (under a
different name) for the dashed line after a text dynamic.
Comment #3 is still relevant to users until we learn how to use 'pure'
stuff to solve
