i did some testing. You're too modest! The results of patchset8 are, at
least on my machine, *wonderful*! Poppler, evince and acroread all improve
their display *a lot!*. The only display problem that i've noticed is that
stafflines stick out of barlines now (at some zoom levels).
Also, there is a significant filesize increase: pdf of Reubke's psalm 94
went from 700 KB to 1.5 MB. With smaller files the difference is not that
big.
