Well, not sure.
I do _not_ argue against it. Your patch _is_ more consistent.
Though, it might be thinkable that someone wants to show \tabFullNotation
in a single voice only, but not in other voices, perhaps for educational
purpose.
Ok, I never heard someone wants this, but it's thinkable.
Thinking more about it, I'm all for your patch:
If someone wants different behaviour of voices it should be no
insurmountable obstacle to apply the relevant \overrides/\reverts in the
voices to be affected. Or to create some CustomTabVoice.
