Pretty much the only other grob where inheriting font properties seems
active currently is Beam, and that does not use ly:text-interface::print.
Fudging in inherited properties seems to require adding stuff to the
respective alist-chain, and the beam::print callback does not look like it
would facilitate an easy path for accommodating this. I have some sort of
proof of concept changing a load of functions just for
ly:text-interface::print but it does not really seem like the effort is in
any proportion to the results.
So for now, I am just going to push the waiting patch.
