Looks like now the normal "make" produces the current info file, and "make
info" finally bombs out with (still present) LilyPond syntax errors in the
@lilypond parts of my documentation strings.
So it may well be that this error report had been caused by the presence of
markup-commands.tely in my top directory. But why would that directory be
searched by lilypond-book _before_ Documentation/out ?
