Ok, that sounds good. git grep " to_string" shows a number of other
candidates that seem not to be in conflict <em>yet</em>. I'll skip on them
for now and hope they'll not come back to bite us as well. If someone
wants to do a more thorough job, feel free to go ahead.
Since it seems we're decidedly better off to have this in 2.17.96 as well,
I'll probably be pushing this tomorrow or so to staging so that we have a
chance to hear about further problems.
Yes, I'm skipping an awful lot of procedures at the moment, but I want this
to draw to a close at some point of time.
