As Keith explained in
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2013-11/msg00290.html,
this was not a bug but rather an insufficient understanding of lilypond on
my part.
So, i think this should be marked as invalid (ofc it makes sensse to
continue discussing how to solve the problem i encountered on the mailing
list).
