Comment #13 on issue 1731 by [email protected]: LilyPond fails to install on
Puppy Linux
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1731
I've tried around with Busybox on my system:
BusyBox v1.20.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.20.0-8.1ubuntu1) built-in shell (ash)
and I have _not_ been able to make the installer fail with the 2.16.2
installer for x86 using the Busybox executable as a shell, which apparently
uses the busybox commands.
So there are a few things I can think of:
a) you are using a different busybox version.
b) you are using a 64 bit system
c) the download did not work properly
c) is unlikely, and a or b imply that your version of Busybox is broken,
either its "tail" executable or its "bunzip2" executable.
