what's the situation? Do you need any help?
As for whether LilyDev is needed, i remember it was really helpful for me
when i got started. But maybe installing and configuring stock Ubuntu
wouldn't be too hard.
Maybe we could use somethig like Vagrant
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vagrant_%28software%29). I could try looking
into it (although i don't have much time)...
