Comment #1 on issue 4132 by [email protected]: Lilypond crashes with incorrect
instrument name case
https://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=4132
I should be surprised if it still does with a current version. Which
version is that supposed to be? I get
/usr/local/tmp/lilypond/out/bin/lilypond roko.ly
GNU LilyPond 2.19.15
Processing `roko.ly'
Parsing...
roko.ly:1: warning: no \version statement found, please add
\version "2.19.15"
for future compatibility
Interpreting music...
warning: type check for `InstrumentName' failed; value `(#<procedure
line-markup (layout props args)> ("Test"))' must be of type
`ly:grob-properties'
Preprocessing graphical objects...
Finding the ideal number of pages...
Fitting music on 1 page...
Drawing systems...
Layout output to `roko.ps'...
Converting to `./roko.pdf'...
Success: compilation successfully completed
That's not a crash.
Now we can probably clamor about the crypticity of the error message. But
it's much better since before issue 2507 (version 2.19.13) where you would
have indeed gotten a really bad crash for this particular input.
So please give some more information regarding the version you use: unless
this is indeed 2.19.13+, I lean towards marking this issue invalid.
