Just to find out whether my concerns w.r.t. Kirchenpausen are unfounded, or
whether we really need two different factors, I describe my visual
impressions again.
Image in #9: Spaces for `2' and `8' are OK, more or less.
Image in #12, upper line: Space for `8' is OK, space for `2' is too large
(your patch fixes this by removing the extraneous padding).
Image in #12, lower line: Space for `2' is OK, space for `8' is too large –
*this* is what I would like to be handled better.
Spacing for standard multi-measure rests is fine now, thanks.
