After several sessions of cherry-picking changes back and forth in
several "independent" patch series, leaving this on countdown would have
been inconsiderate anyway. So I folded the next part of the cleanup in.
Rietveld now gives Stats (+363 lines, -526 lines) and that includes mostly
line-neutral infrastructure patches.
