Dear Wilbert. I am very happy you reply this email to the mailing list! Much thanks.
You are so great in design such a amazing app Frescobaldi. I am from China where there are so many people playing guitar and piano and also China is the most populous country in the World. Many people playing guitar using tab score and Chinense Jianpu score, but unfortunately so far there Is not a music score software that can do such a job like the screenshot (see my screen shot in this email). We have to use guitar pro, Sibelius which Include stave score (five lines). But many guitar players are eager to have this like the screen shot. We know we still can be a best musician or a Guitar player experts without five line score. As far as I know, there is only one windows-based software called Muse which was designed by one guitar player . This software is also a typeset input method and with PDF output. Unfortunately, Muse project was stopped and ever ever not updated for ever, and it just can run in Windows7, And there is no Mac version. It has no source Code. I can promise, if you can extend the input mode with Chinese Jianpu, tab(six lines), chords, lyrics (actually most of these can be Achieved in frescobody but Jianpu input, and aso these need to be integrated together),China is yours! Why there are no people do that? Because most of programmers in China don’t know English very well, and also most programmers in China don’t play guitar ever don’t know music. So, currently most people have to use Muse in Windows7 , but a lot of people use Apple. Dear Wilbert, what can I do to help you to think about such a great thing? And are you interested in extending your frescobaldi with amazing China Jianpu input? If you will do that, I can do a lot of things for you. Much thanks! The following screen shot is the most popular guitar score views in China. We just use this (Chinese Jianpu, lyrics, 6 lines tab with pick up and down, chords etc): Muse software based windows 7: > 2020年12月23日 上午12:16,Wilbert Berendsen <[email protected]> 写道: > > Op Tue, 22 Dec 2020 09:47:38 +0100 (CET) > Werner LEMBERG <[email protected]> schreef: > >> I strongly suggest that you don't do that.
