I seem to recall that the Frescobaldi Flatpak package actually bundles LilyPond. Maybe Federico can tell more?
Yes, it currently bundles 2.22.2 and 2.23.7.There's currently an issue in one of the build (flatpak) dependencies which blocks any update.
