Thanks, this looks promising!  I only wonder whether there is a means
to even more optically enhance the adding/removing part so that the
differences can be immediately seen.  Would it be possible to render
the image itself as pale gray, making the green and red colours stick
out more prominently?  Or maybe we could have inverted B/W images,
again making the red and green parts more visible?
