A release will need some amount of discussion before it happens, with buy-in from other developers, not just me making a decision and "doing it". I last brought up the topic in July and my summary would be that the time hadn't come yet: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lilypond-devel/2025-07/msg00022.html I don't have an opinion on an LSR replacement, but regarding the redirection I agree with Werner that a working infrastructure has advantages. For a long-term solution, it might even be an idea to change the entire DNS entry of lsr.di.unimi.it to the new server and have the redirection implemented there. Jonas
