lilypond-1.8.1 is available for Cygwin, in the TEST/Experimental distribution. Tetex has also been updated in the Cygwin TEST distribution. This should fix a number of problems reported lately.
Please post success or failure reports here. Windows users should know by now that Cygwin is using the TEST/Experimental distribution (in setup.exe's Package selection screen, choose the (x) Exp radio button) to test the new release. Make sure that you are running cygwin-1.5.2 (or newer) and other packages from TEST, using packages from Curr will not work.
