[Mac OS X 10.2.6 (Build 6L60); Lilypond 1.9.2]

Hello, all --

I'm a newbie to Lilypond, but loving it so far (just over 24 hours); after almost a decade wrestling with Finale and a couple of years with the technically wonderful but totally corporationally frustrating Igor Engraver, it's great to see stunning output (the best I've ever seen!) from an open-source app...

Anyway, my specific question right now is this: I'm trying to draw a slur originating within a tuplet in one measure and terminating in the next measure, like so (example from my Igor engraving of the same piece):

Description: Adobe PDF document

I can't seem to get the correct syntax -- so far, this is the best I've done:

%% m004
\time 3/2
{ <<a' f''>>4\mf ef'' \times 2/3 {d''4-\tenuto\( af' bf'} b'8 e'?\> b? bf\! } |
%% m005
\time 7/4
<
{ af4\)\p \grace g8-( <<c' bf'>>2-\upbow-) <<d' cs''>>1-\downbow } \\
{ s2. \transparentStem g4 }
> |

but I get a parsing error:

warning: can't find start of phrasing slur:
{ af4\
)\p \grace g8-( <<c' bf'>>2-\upbow-) <<d' cs''>>1-\downbow } \\
[8][9]
warning: unterminated phrasing slur:
{ <<a' f''>>4\mf ef'' \times 2/3 {d''4-\tenuto\
( af' bf'} b'8 e'?\> b? bf\! } |

I think I understand the basic issue, but don't see how to overcome the problem -- any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
Kieren.
