You don't need all the fonts defined in the \paper section, and I don't think you have needed them since 2.19.11. The code below works for me: %%% \version "2.23.6" \include "jazzchords.ily" \include "lilyjazz.ily" \include "jazzextras.ily" \markup { Some text } myChordSequence = \chordmode { \set chordChanges = ##t %\set chordNameExceptions = #chExceptions e2:m7 a:7 | e:m7 a:7 | } Part_POne_Staff_One_Voice_One = \absolute { \language "nederlands" \set Score.rehearsalMarkFormatter = #format-mark-box-letters % \set Score.rehearsalMarkFormatter = #format-mark-box-alphabet % pour le "I" \override Score.RehearsalMark.font-size = #+5 \textLengthOn \key d \major \mark \default \clef "treble" b'8 [ a' b' a' ~ ] a' b'4. | % 6 \barNumberCheck #2 r8 b'4. a'8 b'4. ^\markup {\musicglyph #"scripts.segno" } | % 7 \barNumberCheck #3 | % 7 } \score { << \new ChordNames \myChordSequence \new Staff = "Part_POne_Staff_One" \with { } << \context Voice = "Part_POne_Staff_One_Voice_One" << \Part_POne_Staff_One_Voice_One >> >> >> } %%% -- Knute Snortum
