An advantage of doing this in-editor is that you can reincorporate manual duration corrections and bar checks into the quantisation. That might significantly speed up the process of getting a good quantisation. Of course, Frescobaldi does not use timing at all yet, so that is a moot point for now. -- David Kastrup
