I've been using Lilypond for ten years, but still consider myself a beginner...
I find Frescobaldi incredibly useful when working with Lilypond - I really like
how it presents the information and highlights exactly where my mistakes are...
usually typos, like hitting a 5 instead of a 4, or forgetting a comma (,) or
apostrophe (').
I cannot imagine where I would be without it!
