Most of the Linux distributions have Lilypond and some even have Frescobaldi in their catalogs...its very easy to setup and run on Linux since it's the reference platform as best I can tell.
On Macs, I'd suggest Homebrew or MacPorts to get Lilypond and then just download Frescobaldi from the Github site. I use it on both Lubuntu Linux and MacOS 15.7 without issues. -Jeff. :) *Jeff Kopmanis* Medium: https://kopmanis.medium.com GLAAC: https://www.glaac.org/ University Lowbrow Astronomers: https://lowbrows.club Orange Can Astronomy: https://www.facebook.com/orangecanastronomy/ ** Go Green and leave this email on the Screen! ** On Sat, Oct 4, 2025, 11:12 PM Brian O'Folan <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello folks.
