I came up with a solution - not at all satisfactory -- of creating a folder called LilypondCode on my desktop and having your installation package put the lilypond stuff there.
Now I have a new problem, when I try to run convert-ly I get this error message: 'convert-ly' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I issued the convert-ly command from this directory C:\Users\rholte\Desktop\LilypondCode\usr\bin The exact command I issued in the command prompt was: C:\Users\rholte\Desktop\LilypondCode\usr\bin>convert-ly -e Desktop\Lilypond\B\Bobcaygeon\bobcageon.ly (Desktop\Lilypond is where I have all Lilypond music files) On Sat, Oct 18, 2025 at 11:05 AM Robert Holte <[email protected]> wrote: > When I tried to make a lilypond directory myself in that location I got > the error message "Access is denied."
